Malvern took the lead with a goal from Charlie Miller. They held their lead until well into the second half when The Chase equalised. With 3 minutes to go and a draw looked on the cards until a defensive mistake led to an own goal. With little time left on the clock Malvern threw players forward to try and equalise but got caught on the break to go down 3-1.
