Rossall Fives Tournament

This year, eight schools entered the annual Rossall Fives Tournament.The Malvern seniors had an excellent weekend with four of the sixplayers qualifying for the last sixteen. Stephen Coffey playedparticularly well overcoming opponents from St Olave\'s, Rossall,Lancing, and Malvern winning 15-5 in the final.

In the Doubles, Malvern\'s first pair again proved the best combination.Their Winchester Fives game being well suited to the Rossall courts.The main opposition, in the semi-finals, came from the home side and StOlave\'s in the final. Both these games were won 11-9 and Malvern wereable to retain the trophy which they won last year.

In the U15age group, only one player was able to attend due to injury. JamieKillick played very well beating players from Rossall, St Olave\'s, StBart\'s and Bedford before being eliminated at the semi-final stage.
