ISGA Golf Round 1 v Monmouth

v. Monmouth

The College team beat Monmouth 2-1 in the first round with an excellent performance at the Worcestershire GC this afternoon.

No 1 and Captain Josh Mansell (No.5) won convincingly 6&4 playing some high quality golf in the top match.

Monmouth played their most experienced player at no 2 and despite playing consistently Jan Moritz Ludicke (No.7) was outgunned 4&3 to leave the match against last years semi-finalists evenly poised.

Playing at No3 Moritz Liebert (No.1) played very solidly and his consistency was too much for the Monmouth player and he won convincingly by 5&4.

This leaves us with another home tie v St Edwards in Round 2 which will be played before half term
