Football
Football has a long and successful tradition at the College and in the Lent term we field five senior and four junior teams who play competitive matches every week. All coaches involved with our teams have Football Association qualifications and many have played at a high standard themselves. The senior 1st and 2nd Xls plus the U15/A Xl play in the recently formed ISFA Mercian league, where they have performed well so far, finishing in the top half of the table.
In the Autumn term Sixth Formers can opt to play football if they are not required to play Rugby and we regularly field two recreational XIs who play competitive games on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons. We also enter a team in the Independent Schools Football Association Cup.
