Victoria Moritz athletics success

On Sunday 29th June Victoria Moritz (6) went to Stantonbury Athletics Stadium, Milton Keynes to represent the County in the Midland Schools Combined Events Championship. Vicky was selected as she came 3rd in the County Championship held last month. It was a challenging day of competition with athletes required to complete all five disciplines: Hurdles, Shot, High Jump, Long Jump and 800 m. Vicky came 16th in the competition, which is a fantastic achievement especially considering she is a year younger than the other competitors and has another attempt at the same competition next year. She recorded personal bests in the Hurdles and the Long Jump and a season\'s best in the High Jump. She also recorded the second fastest 800m time of the competition. Well done Vicky.
